Use Simple / Instant Win when you want the shortest possible play flow: the player taps once and OmniLab resolves the result without a wheel, card, or 3D object interaction.
Before you begin
- Open an existing campaign in Studio. If you still need the campaign shell, start with Your first campaign.
- Prepare the main visual: this game uses a
Banner Imageinstead of a full background. The verified shared asset spec for that banner-style image is900 x 600 px. - Prepare the player-facing copy: a title, subtitle, optional description, and the win or loss messages you want to display after the result is resolved.
- Decide which outcome model you need:
Random Chance,Scheduled Rewards, orLottery.
Configure the game
1. Create the touchpoint
In Build -> Touchpoints, add a new game touchpoint and choose the Instant Reward format. In the docs, that format is covered as Simple / Instant Win.
Give it an internal name that is easy to recognize in rewards and validation messages.
2. Set the page content
Open the Appearance tab and add the content players see before the result is resolved:
- Upload the
Banner Image. - Add the
TitleandSubtitle. - Use the description field if you want to explain the prize logic, campaign rules, or lottery entry message in advance.
Unlike the other luck-based formats, there is no separate mini-game canvas to configure here. The page header and the outcome setup are the whole experience.
3. Configure the outcomes
Open Outcomes and choose the result model that fits the campaign:
Random Chance: add winning options, optionally add a losing outcome, link rewards to the winning options, and make sure the combined probability total equals100.Scheduled Rewards: chooseSimplefor one date range orAdvancedfor attribution slots inside each winning option after a reward is linked.Lottery: add theLottery Participation Message, then create the linkedLotteryreward in the shared rewards flow.

In lottery mode, this touchpoint confirms participation, but the prize logic lives in the linked lottery reward. Use the platform references for the canonical mechanics behind Instant Win, Draw at End, Attribution slots, and reward linking.
4. Review the shared tabs and test
After Appearance and Outcomes, review the shared luck-based tabs as needed: Terms & Conditions, Restrictions, Dates, Gamification, and Advanced.
Use the Dates tab for overall play availability. In Scheduled Rewards, the date settings in Outcomes only control winning moments, not whether the touchpoint is open.
Save the touchpoint, preview the page, and test one immediate win, one loss, or one lottery entry before launch.
What players see
Players land on a branded page with the banner image, title, subtitle, and optional description. Once they tap the main CTA, OmniLab resolves the outcome directly.
There is no separate wheel, scratch layer, or 3D object. In immediate modes, OmniLab opens the result state with the selected message and reward. In Lottery, OmniLab shows the participation message that confirms the player has been entered into the draw.
Common validation issues
| Validation message | Meaning | Fix |
|---|---|---|
Instant Reward game '{{online_game_name}}' is missing a touchpoint image | The touchpoint does not have the main banner-style image needed by this format. | Go to Build > Touchpoints > {{online_game_name}} > General Configuration and upload a touchpoint image |
Luck-based game '{{touchpoint_name}}' winning option '{{display_name}}' is missing a Luck-based reward | A winning outcome exists, but it is not linked to any reward yet. | Go to Build > Touchpoints > {{touchpoint_name}} > Game Configuration and link a reward to the winning option '{{display_name}}'. |
Probability-based game '{{touchpoint_name}}' has invalid total probability weights: {{total_weight}} (must equal 100) | The probability split is incomplete or exceeds the valid total. | Go to Build > Touchpoints > {{touchpoint_name}} > Game Configuration and adjust probability weights so they sum to exactly 100 |
Instant Reward game '{{touchpoint_name}}' is missing lottery participation message | Lottery mode is selected, but players have no confirmation copy yet. | Go to Build > Touchpoints > {{touchpoint_name}} > Game Configuration and add a lottery participation message |
Instant Reward game '{{touchpoint_name}}' with lottery mode requires at least one associated lottery reward | The touchpoint can register entries, but no lottery reward is linked to it yet. | Go to Build > Rewards, create a Lottery reward, then link that reward to this game's lottery setup and keep it dedicated to this game. |
