Simple / Instant Win

Build the shortest luck-based play: one tap reveals a win or loss, with no wheel, card, or 3D object.

Run the shortest possible play: the player taps once and OmniLab shows the result — no wheel, scratch card, or 3D object to interact with. Simple / Instant Win is the fastest way to put a prize behind a single tap.

This guide builds a complete, publishable example: a seasonal Summer Sale — Instant Win activation where one tap reveals whether the player has won a 10€ Summer Voucher.

One game, three result models

Simple / Instant Win supports Random Chance (a set % chance per play), Scheduled Rewards (prizes released on set dates), and Lottery (a draw after the campaign). This example uses Random Chance, and the other two are shown at the end.

Before you begin

Assets you'll need

A Simple / Instant Win leads with a banner, a title, a subtitle, and a button — there's no full-screen background and no per-result image; the win and loss are shown as messages. It also uses a thumbnail for listings and a reward icon.

Configure the page

Open the touchpoint

In Build, open the Touchpoints tab and select Configure on your Simple game. To add one, use Add New Touchpoint and choose Instant Reward — it appears in the list tagged Simple Game.

Upload the banner

On the Appearance tab, upload the Banner Image — the main visual at the top of the page. Simple / Instant Win uses a banner instead of a full-screen background, because there's no mini-game to play on.

Add the title and subtitle

Add the Title and Subtitle players read, and use the details field for any prize logic or rules. The page header plus the result are the whole experience — there's no wheel, card, or 3D object to configure.

Create the instant-win reward

The prize is granted by a Luck Based reward you create in Rewards, then link to the winning option.

Add a game reward

Open the Rewards tab, click Add New Reward, and choose Create a Game Reward.

Pick Luck Based

Choose Luck Based Reward — the instant-win type that resolves the moment a player taps — then click Create Luck Based Reward.

Write the winner message

Open the reward and expand User Messages → Messages for Winners. Write the Title and Subtitle winners see, and set a Reward Quantity above zero — otherwise the reward stays invalid and blocks publishing.

Configure the outcomes

Choose the result model

Open Outcomes. Under How Winners Are Determined, pick the result model. This example uses Random Chance — every player has a set percentage chance to win. (Scheduled Rewards and Lottery are covered below.)

Set the winning option

Open Winning Option 1 and set its Probability and the Winning Option Message shown to winners. Add more winning options if you offer several prizes.

Connect the winning option to your reward with Link with a Luck Based Game Reward. Every winning option needs a linked reward, or publishing is blocked.

Set the losing message

Open Losing Outcome and write the Losing Message shown to players who don't win. There's no separate losing image — the message is what they see.

Check the total adds up to 100%

OmniLab tracks the Total Probability as you go. The winning and losing weights must total exactly 100% for Random Chance before you can publish.

Other result models

Random Chance is one of three models under How Winners Are Determined. Switch the selector to use a different one — the winning options and reward stay the same.

Scheduled Rewards

Scheduled Rewards releases prizes on set dates and times instead of by chance — ideal for limited-quantity promotional items. A Rewards distribution panel sets the Start Date and End Date of the winning window; choose Simple for one window, or Advanced for attribution slots per winning option.

Scheduled dates vs. play dates

The Start and End dates here control when winning moments occur, not when the game is open. Use the Dates tab to set overall play availability.

Lottery

Lottery turns the tap into a draw entry: winners are picked later from a linked lottery reward. Write the Lottery Participation Message that confirms the player has entered — for example, "You're in! You've been entered into the Summer Sale draw. Winners are selected after the sale ends."

Publish

Validate and publish

Open Publish to validate the campaign. When it reads Campaign is ready to publish, confirm with Publish — the touchpoint goes live and players can tap to win.

What players see

Players land on a branded page with the banner, title, subtitle, and optional description, then tap the main button. OmniLab shows the outcome directly — there's no wheel, scratch layer, or 3D object. In immediate modes, it opens the result with your win or loss message and reward; in Lottery mode, it shows the message confirming the player is entered into the draw.

If publishing is blocked

  • The banner image is missing — open Appearance and upload the Banner Image.
  • A winning option has no reward linked — open Outcomes and link a reward to every winning option.
  • The odds don't total 100% — under Random Chance, adjust the weights until the Total Probability reads exactly 100%.
  • The reward has no winner message — open the reward's User Messages → Messages for Winners and add a Title and Subtitle.
  • The lottery participation message is missing — in Lottery mode, add the message that confirms the player has entered.

Configure the shared settings

Simple / Instant Win shares the standard touchpoint tabs. Configure these as needed:
