Notification types reference
Review each notification type, its trigger, scope options, and the campaign setups where it applies.
This reference lists the notification types available in OmniLab, what triggers each one, and which campaign objects they relate to.
Main notification types

Conditional notification
You may also see Participate
Some campaigns also expose Participate, a global-only notification that fires when a visitor enters through the landing-page participation flow. If you see that card in Build -> Notifications, it uses the same email fields as other notifications but does not offer a per-object tab.
Booking dependency
Reminder requires cancellation
If you activate Booking Confirmation Reminder, OmniLab also expects Booking Cancellation to be active. Otherwise validation surfaces Booking confirmation reminder is enabled but booking cancellation notification is not active.
Booking notification types matter only for activities with booking enabled. If a campaign has no bookable activities, those types are irrelevant for that campaign.
How to configure any type
All notification types are configured from the same area:
- Use Configure notifications globally when one email should cover every matching reward or Touchpoint.
- Use Configure notifications by touchpoint when different rewards or Touchpoints need different content.
- Use Email content, banners, CTAs when you need field-level guidance for the shared email block.
