Configure notifications globally
Use the Global tab to apply one notification email configuration everywhere that type can send.
Set up one email that goes out everywhere a notification type can send, so a single message keeps your whole campaign consistent.
Before you begin
- You can edit the campaign in Build.
- A supported email platform is connected for your organisation.
- You know which notification type you want to activate.
Configuration
Open Notifications
Go to Build > Notifications, then select the notification type you want to configure.

Choose the Global tab
Open the panel for that type and keep the Global tab selected.
If the type already uses By Reward or By Touchpoint, switching to Global turns that per-object mode off.
Turn Active on
Switch the Active toggle on.
For Participate, this is the only delivery mode. For other types, Active means one shared email will be used everywhere that type can fire.
Fill the email fields
Complete Email Subject Line, Email Preheader, Email Banner, and Email Content. Add Email CTA Label and Email CTA Link only if you want a button in the message.
Save
Click Save. The global setup now applies to every matching reward or Touchpoint in this campaign.
What Global means per type
| Type family | What Global covers |
|---|---|
| Participate | The single campaign-wide participation email. |
| Winner, Loser, Eligible, Reward Redeemed | Every matching reward event in the campaign. |
| Touchpoint Unlocked, Booking Confirmation, Booking Cancellation, Booking Confirmation Reminder | Every matching Touchpoint or booking event in the campaign. |
If something's blocked
A few common reasons publishing is held up, and how to fix them:
- The email isn't set up — complete the email fields for the selected notification type.
- The subject line is empty — fill Email Subject Line.
- The banner is missing — upload an Email Banner.
- The body is empty — fill Email Content.
- The button label and link don't match — fill both Email CTA Label and Email CTA Link, or leave both empty. One without the other is flagged.
- The button link isn't a valid web address — use a full address starting with
http://orhttps://.
