Set the participation form for an event
Understand when an event needs a Participation Form and when a Booking Form or Check-in Form is the better fit.
Use a Participation Form when the event needs extra questions as part of the Touchpoint journey itself, not just during booking or on-site arrival. A workshop might ask for experience level before participation continues, while a product demo might ask for a preferred session topic.
Keep the event forms separate. The Booking Form belongs to ticket reservation, the Check-in Form belongs to arrival on site, and the Participation Form belongs to the broader Touchpoint flow. For many bookable events, the booking-time or arrival-time form is the better fit.
Choose the form by moment
Ask yourself when the question should appear: during booking, during the Touchpoint flow, or at check-in. That answer usually tells you which form to configure.
