Set opt-in for an event
See how Opt-in applies to event Activities and where to configure it at campaign or Touchpoint level.
Events often collect attendee data through booking, participation, or check-in forms. That does not turn on Opt-in automatically: the campaign still needs an explicit consent setup that matches what you collect and why you collect it.
In most event campaigns, Opt-in stays at Campaign Level so the same consent text covers the whole attendee journey. Switch to Touchpoint Level only when one Activity needs its own terms, for example a partner-run VIP session inside a larger festival campaign.
Forms do not replace Opt-in
The Booking Form, Participation Form, and Check-in Form can collect extra information, but they do not replace the need for the right Opt-in scope and consent text.
