Cancel a booking
Cancel a booking from the Bookings dashboard and keep a clear record of the cancelled attendee.
Cancel a guest's booking to free up the place while keeping the history visible for your records.
Before you begin
- You can open the campaign's bookings dashboard in OmniLab Studio.
- The booking still shows the Cancel Booking action. A booking that's already cancelled or already checked in stays in the list but no longer offers this action.
Cancel the booking
Open Bookings
In OmniLab Studio, open your campaign, select Bookings, and find the guest using search or filters.
Confirm it's the right booking
Check the Activity, Start Date, and Ticket Type before you cancel. This matters most when one guest holds several bookings.
Select Cancel Booking and confirm
On the guest's row, select Cancel Booking, then confirm in the dialog. The booking stays in the table marked Cancelled, so you keep a clear record.
What happens after you cancel
The place opens up again for the activity. If the guest needs to join later, create a new booking rather than trying to reverse the cancellation.
Good to know
- If booking cancellation emails are set up and active, OmniLab can send that message when you cancel.
- Cancel Booking doesn't appear on bookings that are already cancelled or checked in.
- Cancelled bookings stay visible in the dashboard and in exports.
- OmniLab doesn't handle refunds or payment reversals. Manage any payment outside this step.
