Set opt-in for a receipt challenge

Collect consent the right way when shoppers upload receipts, and choose where that consent is set.

Make sure you have valid consent before a receipt challenge collects personal data or proof of purchase. Opt-in matters here just as much as for a game or a booking flow.

Opt-in is usually managed at the campaign level. When your campaign sets opt-in per Touchpoint instead, the receipt challenge can have its own consent setup.

Opt-in lives outside the receipt challenge tabs

You don't set the consent text from the receipt challenge's Appearance or Configuration tabs. Use the Platform opt-in guides below instead.

Keep opt-in at campaign level

Use this when the same consent wording should cover every Touchpoint in the campaign, including the receipt challenge.

A summer promotion is a typical example: one landing page, one wheel game, and one receipt challenge all feed the same marketing purpose.

Switch to per-Touchpoint opt-in

Use this when the receipt challenge collects something clearly different from your other Touchpoints, such as proof of purchase, extra retailer data, or a separate post-purchase marketing permission.
