Configure notifications for a receipt challenge
See which notification types matter most for receipt challenges, then continue in the Platform guides.
Receipt challenges usually rely on a smaller notification set than a game-heavy campaign, but the same notification model still applies.
In practice, the most relevant types are usually Winner, Loser, Eligible, and Reward Redeemed. If the receipt challenge is part of a broader multi-touchpoint journey, Touchpoint Unlocked can also matter.
Notifications are configured outside the receipt operator tool
Operators can review sessions and receipts in the receipt-backend, but email templates and notification scope live in the Platform notifications area.
Common notification patterns for Transactions
| Goal | Typical notification type | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm an instant outcome after validation | Winner or Loser | Useful when the participant should receive a formal email after the on-screen result. |
| Confirm lottery-style eligibility | Eligible | Useful when the reward is not resolved immediately. |
| Confirm the reward was later claimed or redeemed | Reward Redeemed | Useful for coupon or prize-collection follow-up. |
| Signal a new unlocked path in a larger campaign | Touchpoint Unlocked | Useful only when the receipt challenge unlocks another touchpoint. |
