3D/AR rendering issues
Diagnose missing assets, unsupported AR, camera issues, and other problems that stop objects from working.
If a Treasure Hunt Object does not open correctly, does not show AR, or blocks participants from continuing, work through the checks below. Most issues come from one of a small number of causes.
Symptom
Participants can reach the hunt or object, but something breaks in the object experience:
- the 3D or AR view does not appear
- the AR button is missing
- the QR code does not scan cleanly in the real venue
- the object opens but participants cannot complete it
- a later object looks unavailable even though the participant found its code
Likely causes
Quick checklist before you re-test
Before you try again, confirm:
- the object asset is attached
- the experience mode is correct
- the target device supports the intended AR flow
- camera access is allowed where needed
- the route order matches the hunt logic
- the interaction rules match the selected question type
