Configure instructions

Add, reorder, and validate instruction items with an icon, title, and subtitle.

Guide participants through what to do before they start: add a short, scannable list of instructions to your landing page and arrange it in the order they should follow.

Before you begin

  • The campaign landing page is enabled.
  • You know the steps or guidance participants need before they start.
  • You have an icon image ready for each instruction.

Assets you'll need

Each instruction step shows a small icon.

Steps

Open the Instructions section

Go to Landing Page, then open the Instructions section card.

Add an instruction

Click Add New Instruction to create a new item in the list.

Fill in the title, subtitle, and icon

Give every instruction three parts:

  1. a short Title
  2. a supporting Subtitle
  3. an Icon

The title tells the participant what the step is, the subtitle adds detail, and the icon makes the list easier to scan.

Reorder the list

Use the up and down controls to move items into the sequence participants should follow.

Remove extras and save

Delete any item you do not need, then save and review the final list on the landing page.

Writing guidance

  • Keep the list short enough to scan quickly. In most campaigns, 3 to 5 items read better than a long checklist.
  • Start each item with the action or outcome the participant should understand first.
  • Use the subtitle for the detail that would otherwise make the title too long.

Icon guidance

  • Use a square image (400 x 400 px, a 1:1 ratio).
  • Recommended formats are JPEG and WEBP.
  • Use a consistent visual style across all items so the list feels intentional.

Working in more than one language

The Title and Subtitle of each instruction can be translated per campaign language. The icon is shared across languages.

If something's blocked

  • An instruction is missing a title — open that item in Landing PageInstructions and add the title.
  • An instruction is missing a subtitle — add the subtitle for that item.
  • An instruction is missing an icon — upload an icon for that item.
