Delete an organisation

Review the current delete-only workflow for organisations and prepare dependent settings before you remove one.

Studio provides a delete flow for organisations. The organisation admin screens do not include a separate archive action.

Treat deletion as destructive

Before deleting an organisation, review users, campaigns, templates, variables, add-ons, and any Pages subdomain tied to that organisation. The current workflow is not presented as a reversible archive step.

Before you delete

Review these items first:

  • active campaigns that still belong to the organisation
  • users who still need access to that organisation
  • templates or integrations that assume the organisation's unique key
  • organisation variables that are still referenced
  • the organisation subdomain in the Domain tab

Delete flow

Switch to the Global organisation

Open the organisation switcher, select the Global organisation, then open General Settings and the Organisations tab.

Open the organisation entry

Find the organisation you want to remove and open its organisation entry in the admin list.

Use the delete action

Run the delete action and confirm it in the modal when you are sure the organisation is no longer needed.

Verify the post-delete state

Check that users no longer rely on that organisation and that any organisation-specific setup has been cleaned up deliberately.

Important current limitations

LimitationWhat it means in practice
No archive action in the organisation admin screensIf you need a soft-retirement workflow, you must handle that operationally outside this delete action
Domain removal is a separate actionRemove the organisation subdomain explicitly instead of assuming the delete flow will replace that step
Deletion changes access immediatelyUsers lose that organisation as a selectable work context once it is removed
