A rule's Type sets what the shopper must do to unlock its prize.
| Type | What unlocks the prize | Use it when |

| Total Amount | The shopper's approved receipts add up to the Minimum Amount Threshold | The prize rewards spend, from one receipt or several |
| On Participation (no receipt) | The shopper joins the game | You want a welcome gift for taking part |
Total Amount adds up spend across the shopper's approved receipts, so three €10 receipts reach a €30 threshold just like one €30 receipt. To count one receipt at a time, set the minimum in the amount rules as well.
