QR codes (download, design)
Download QR codes for campaigns, touchpoints, spaces, and Smart Links, then choose the right export style for digital or print.
In this article, you'll learn where OmniLab QR codes are available, how to download them for campaigns and touchpoints, and when to switch to Smart Links for richer design control.
Prerequisites
- Your campaign or Smart Link is ready to share.
- For campaign touchpoint QR codes, the campaign is published.
- If you need a campaign-level QR code, the landing page is enabled.
Where QR codes are available
| Asset | Where to find it | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign landing page | Landing Page, or bulk QR downloads from Touchpoints | The campaign root URL |
| Individual touchpoint | Build -> Touchpoints -> Share or Preview | A direct touchpoint URL with ?c= |
| Space | Build -> Touchpoints -> Dynamic QR Codes | A space URL with ?s= |
| Smart Link | Smart Links -> open a Smart Link -> Download QR | A Smart Link URL using /l/<slug> |
Download QR codes for a campaign
Publish the campaign first
The current sharing and QR actions are exposed on active campaigns. If you are still building the experience, finish validation and publish before preparing final QR assets.
Download one touchpoint QR code
Go to Build -> Touchpoints, then click Share on the touchpoint you want to distribute. The Share Links modal lets you copy the default URL, review social variants, and download the QR code as PNG or SVG.
Download all campaign touchpoint QR codes
From the Touchpoints header menu, use Download QR Codes, then choose Download All as PNG or Download All as SVG. OmniLab bundles the QR assets for the published touchpoints in the campaign.
Open Dynamic QR Codes for landing pages and spaces
From the same menu, open Dynamic QR Codes when you need the landing page QR code together with Spaces. This is the quickest way to prepare venue or zone-based distribution assets.
What you can design today
Campaign and touchpoint QR downloads focus on fast distribution. Smart Links currently offer the richer design workflow.
| Surface | Current options |
|---|---|
| Campaign and touchpoint QR exports | Ready-to-download PNG and SVG files, plus bundled exports for touchpoints, campaign landing pages, treasure hunt objects, and spaces. |
| Smart Links QR designer | Foreground and background colors, optional logo upload, optional label under the QR code, PNG or SVG, multiple PNG sizes, and ZIP downloads that include selected variants. |
Use Smart Links for print campaigns
If a poster, flyer, or in-store asset may need its destination changed later, pair the final QR code with a Smart Link. That gives you a stable printed code while keeping the redirect flexible.
Print and distribution best practices
- Test the final QR code on at least one iPhone and one Android device before you print.
- Prefer
SVGwhen you need to scale the artwork for large-format print. - Keep strong contrast between the foreground and background colors.
- If you add a centered logo in the Smart Links designer, increase the export size and test the exact final artwork.
- Leave enough white space around the QR code in the final layout so scanners can isolate it quickly.
Campaign QR exports are generated with robust error correction, but print quality, contrast, and surrounding layout still decide how reliably the code scans in the real world.
