Overlapping slots
Diagnose overlap validation errors in Specific Dates and weekly time ranges.
If validation says your event has overlapping slots, the issue is almost always in Specific Dates or in two time ranges on the same weekday.
Symptom
You cannot publish or save the event because the slot schedule creates two time windows that overlap.
Likely causes
Quick checks before you try again
- Make sure each slot ends before the next one starts.
- In weekly mode, only ranges on the same day are compared. Monday and Tuesday can share the same hours; two Monday ranges cannot overlap.
- If you changed slot duration or buffer, review the schedule again before publishing.
- Save after each correction so the next remaining overlap is easier to isolate.
