Transactional emails

Send automated emails triggered by OmniLab participant activity, such as confirmations, reward notifications, and reminders.

Send the right message at the right moment by letting participant activity trigger an email automatically — a booking confirmation after someone registers, a reward notification after they win, or a reminder before an event.

Unlike a marketing campaign email you send to a whole list, a transactional email goes to one person at one moment, because of something they did.

Common examples

  • Booking confirmation — sent when a participant reserves a slot for an event or activity.
  • Reward notification — sent when a participant wins or is credited a reward.
  • Registration confirmation — sent after a participant completes a sign-up step.
  • Reminder — sent a set time before an upcoming booking or event.

How it works

When a participant does something, OmniLab signals your email tool to send the matching message. Your development team makes the link between OmniLab and your email system once, and from then on the emails go out on their own.

Your developer wires this up

Connecting OmniLab activity to your email tool is a one-time technical setup handled by your development team. Contact your OmniLab Customer Success Manager to confirm the connection approach that fits your setup.

What to decide before your developer starts

  • Which events should trigger an email (booking confirmed, reward won, reminder before event, etc.).
  • Which email platform or service will send the messages (your existing email service provider, CRM, or a dedicated transactional email tool).
  • What information should appear in each email (participant name, event details, reward description, etc.).
  • Who is responsible for designing and writing the email templates.
